What does a legitimate web presence mean for Kathi?
“For me, it’s like, ‘Yeah. I’m here. I have a business. This is what I do.’”
"I really wanted my own website that had my own look and feel to it, that resonated with what I was offering and could best reach the people I wanted to reach."
Kathi Martuza decided to become a certified health coach with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. As a benefit to being a student of the school, Kathi was given a free website to launch her coaching business. Though she could customize the site in certain ways, "it was very much like a stock website," Kathi explained.
Ideally, she wanted her website to look and feel like her brand, without the school’s advertising banner permanently centered on the front page. She wanted to feel like she had a real, established business. For that, Kathi needed a site professional WordPress site design for her. One with a blog and pages she could control the look, feel and content of.

“It’s a beautiful website and it’s exactly what I would have hoped for”
After previously working with Mozak Design on her husband’s website and having such a positive experience, there was no question that Kathi would work with Jocelyn for her own site. She knew Jocelyn could create the website she wanted and achieve her desired result: “Streamlined clarity of what I offered and how I did it, making it incredibly simple to understand.”
While the goal of a website is often to generate more leads for business, Kathi’s intentions are deeper than that.
Though Mozak Design delivered a clean, user-friendly website, Kathi’s experience was unexpectedly different than before. “I ended up dealing with a few different people, which I hadn’t done the first time around,” she shared, explaining that it was unusual to speak with different team members and not directly with Jocelyn each time. However, Kathi realized, “With that many different people, I got a lot of different takes and feedback on things, and that was helpful.” And most importantly, “It’s a beautiful website and it’s exactly what I would have hoped for,” she gushed.
“If anything else, it just makes me feel much more professional. I have a Pilates studio and practice out of my home, which in and of itself feels a little less professional than perhaps a boutique studio that you walk along the street.” Though a home business is what Kathi wants right now, “This just makes me feel a little bit more valid in what I do.”
